Richard Jenkins Castor

Richard graduated from Houghton College and the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dentistry. He established Chemung Family Dental Center in Southport NY, and was known as the “gentle dentist.” Best known as Dick, Dad, and Papa. He is survived by his wife, Diana Wike Castor, of 63 years and his six children, R. Jeffrey Castor, Cathleen Castor Forney, Jennifer (Edward) Townley, Belinda Castor, Karen (Robert) Stewart and Jonathan (Sharon) Castor. He is loved by his many grandchildren, Nathan (Maryn) Forney, Morgan (Betsy) Forney, Caitlin (Mark) McNutt, Sarah Castor, Ben Townley, Noah Townley, Jill Stewart, Sam Stewart, Florin Castor and Cristian Castor and is blessed with nine great grandchildren. He is a son of God and now a resident of Heaven. Celebration of life services will be held at a later date.
