McCarthy, Serenity Joy
passed into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. She was born December 29, 2009 into a loving family which includes parents David and Cindy McCarthy; siblings Mitchell (Becky), Joshua (Eden with their son Calvin), Caleb (Katie), Amanda, Josiah, Abigail, Quinten, Emmaline, Ian, Gabriella, Liam, and Alayna; paternal grandparents, Daniel and Barbara McCarthy Sr.; maternal grandparents,Verne and Mary Mower; and several extended family members. Serenity, known to those who love her as Ren, was well known for her smiles as well as her sassy spirit, her delight in singing as well as
her deep love of her siblings. Her spunk, enthusiasm and inquisitive nature was a blessing to us all. We are thankful for every day we got to spend with her this side of heaven and know we will see her again in eternity. The family welcomes relatives and friends to Pine Valley Baptist Church, 4872 Pinecrest Road, Millport, NY on Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 2-5pm. Serenity's Funeral Service will be held following at 5pm with Pastor Andrew Gable. She will be laid to rest at the convenience of her family.
