CRANE, JAY C.
A resident of Horseheads passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at the age of 69. Jay was born June 24, 1947, in Montour Falls, NY, son of the late Francis and Joyce Stone Crane. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 32 years, Sandy Terrill Crane; daughter Lisa (Scott) Lowmaster; son Nicholas Crane both of of Horseheads, NY; grandchildren, Lauren, Nate, Kalyssa, Levi and Arielle; siblings, Cheryl (Harry) Boynton, Fran (Lorraine) Crane, Peggy (Doug) Yaw, Terry (Diane) Crane, and Rick (Sylvia) Crane; and several nieces and nephews. Jay was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was an active member and volunteer with the First United Methodist Church of Horseheads and the Boy Scouts of America. He served in the U. S Army with honor. Family and friends are invited to Jay’s Celebration of Life at the First United Methodist Church, 1034 W. Broad St, Horseheads, NY on Friday, April 21, 2017. Family will receive guests from 10:30 to 11:00 am with funeral service to begin at 11:00 am. Fellowship celebration luncheon to follow.
