HAWLEY, David A.
Of Horseheads, NY passed on Friday evening , October 6, 2017 at the age of 73. David was born May 13, 1944, a son to the late Edmond Hawley Jr. and Mary “Weese” Hoffman. He is also predeceased by his son, Mark Hawley. David is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 48 years, Susan “Kiser” Hawley; son, Scott and Jillian Hawley, daughter-in-law, Rose Hawley, grandchildren, Eowyn, Brittney and Megan; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Patrick Hotelling; brothers, Robert Hawley and Joseph Baldwin; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. David served his country honorably with the US Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis and retired after 32 years at Anchor Glass. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan’s Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St. at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 3PM - 5 PM. His Funeral Service will follow at 5PM with Military Honors. He will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
