KENNEDY, Kathleen A. “Kathy”
Of Elmira, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at the age 62. Born April 16, 1955 in Waverly, NY, daughter of the late Arthur H. and Anna Joslyn Shadduck. Kathy was also predeceased by brother, Cliff Shadduck and brother-in-law, Billy Kennedy. She is survived by her loving devoted husband and best friend of 20 years Robert Kennedy of Elmira, NY and their children, Christian (Liz) Haralson of Elmira Heights, NY; step children, Jennifer (Jason) Embree and Scott Kennedy; grandchildren, Olivia Scouten, Anna and Rebecca Haralson, and Alec Embree; sisters, Bonnie (Steve) Butts; brother, Al (Hazel) Shadduck, Duane Shadduck (Nancy Arnold); mother-in-law, Ruth Mull; sisters-in-law; Ann Shadduck and Melody Mull; and several extended family members. Kathy was employed by Winchester Optical for over 35 years and will be lovingly remembered for the care of her family and her four legged companions. She also loved her grandchildren, her aquarium, biking with her Yorkie, shooting and was a kind, caring, fair, and humble lady. The family will welcome relatives and friends at the Horseheads Community Wesleyan Church, 2095 Grand Central Ave., Horseheads, NY on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 10AM-12PM with her Funeral Service to follow.
